Confidential Safe House:

In 1977, Womenspace opened its first confidential shelter. Today, our Safe House continues to be a safe haven for women escaping intimate partner violence.

  • Accessed through the 24-Hour Crisis Line or our walk-in Support Center
  • Serves single survivors as well as survivors with children
  • Serves survivors of all genders
  • Safety planning
  • Education and life skills
  • One-on-one advocacy and support
  • Referrals to community resources
  • Provides safe housing for about 200 people each year
